Girl Scouts East Bay
Girl Scouts s dedicated solely to girls and provides an accepting and nurturing environment for girls to build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self worth. There are many opportunities for becoming involved including presenters with special skills, troop treasurers and trainers and troup leaders. There are waiting lists to place girls in troops so troop leaders are in high demand. There is a time committment for troup leaders but a more flexible committment for other programs. Volunteering can occur anywhere in the East Bay area.
