Edible Garden (Berkeley)

Volunteer work with middle school children in a garden as a way of teaching about science and food. The garden grows a wide variety of seasonal produce and volunteers seed, grow, harvest, and rotate crops with new groups of students each year.

Experience Corps Bay Area (Berkeley)

The program offers the opportunity to develop caring relationships with elementary and middle school students in Berkeley during the school day.  Volunteers tutor and mentor K-3 students in literacy and social learning. This includes providing one on one tutoring, small group tutoring or classroom assistance.  Tutors often develop programs for children based on their own unique backgrounds and experience.
