Allied Arts Guild (Menlo Park)

There are three gardens among over ten art studios. Flowers include blue Nile lilies, aster, salvia, hydrangeas, gold and yellow marigolds, wallflowers, nasturtiums and roses. There is a cafe on site.

Holbrook-Palmer Park (Atherton)

This is public park with 22 acres of beautiful gardens and lawns. An approximately one mile walking path surrounds the park which has four different workout stations. There is plenty of free parking in the front and back of the park. The park is free to use but all the buildings are limited to private events. The park may be more noisy when there are outdoor events going on during the day.

San Mateo Japanese Tea Garden (San Mateo)

This garden was designed by landscape architect, Nagao Sakurai of the Imperial Palace of Tokyo. It features a granite pagoda, tea house, koi pond and bamboo grove. The Japanese Tea Garden is beautiful throughout the year, and the cherry blossoms are in bloom in the late Winter and early Spring. Koi feedings are done  Monday thru Friday from 11:00am and 3:00pm from April to September.
