Arastradero Preserve

Arastradero Preserve has 10 miles of trails for biking, hiking, and horseback riding in rolling hills of savanna grassland and broadleaf evergreen forest.  The trails are fairly wide.  Elevation spans from 275 feet to 775 feet. There is plenty of wildlife including deer, bobcats, coyotes, and many varieties of birds.


Dogs must be on leash.

Operating Hours

8 a.m. until sunset everyday

Disabled Access

There is one large wheelchair accessible parking lot, restrooms and drinking water.

Most of the trails are wide and non-technical and include rolling hills that are exposed to the sun. This is a popular place for hikers on the weekends so the trails are more busy.
