Coyote Creek Entomology Walk
We had a thoughtful stroll along Coyote Creek searching for insects that inhabit this riparian area. We saw colorful birds and galls as well as gopher, beetles and spiders. We even saw a pumpkin gall wasp! This walk was led by an entomologist who taught us about these creatures. We ended the afternoon with a picnic lunch. Thank you to Supervisor Otto Lee and the rest of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for their support of this hike.
