Rhus Ridge Adventure

On this one-way walk, we used the less traveled trails of Rancho San Antonio Preserve, an area with a 3000-year history dating back to the Ohlone people. Along the way, we learned about the history and habitat of this preserve and looked for galls (abnormal plant growths caused by insects) on oak tree leaves. We ended the afternoon with a social picnic lunch. This special program was hosted in partnership with Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.
