VIP Birds of Los Gatos Creek County Park

We took a leisurely walk along Los Gatos Creek and around Oka Ponds in Campbell. Along the way, we learned about the history of Los Gatos Creek, Oka Ponds and Los Gatos Creek County Park restoration projects managed by Valley Water. We also learned about resident birds such as American Bitterns, Merlins, Wilson's Snipes and Black-crowned Night Herons and heard their bird songs. This walk was in partnership with Open Space Authority, Knight Foundation, Valley Water and Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
