CA Native Plant Restoration Walk

On this hike, we were led by a member of the California Native Plant Society who is involved with native plant restorations at Alum Rock Park. We visited these two sites and learned about the invasive plant removal and planting projects and how restoration affects the local wildlife. We also saw fossils and visited two owls at the Youth Science Institute. BAO thanks the Valley Water for supporting this program. Please look at the photos to learn more.
