Rancho Canada Del Oro Wildflower Walk

Thank you to Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority for their support of this wildflower hike through the Measure Q Environmental Education Grant Program. Rancho Canada Del Oro, a 3882-acre preserve managed by the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority, is well known for its awesome displays of wildflowers. We had a ~4 mile walk through varied habitats, saw a variety of wildflowers and other wildlife while walking over rolling hills. Everyone got a wildflower guide to help them identify wildflowers along the hike route, and we had two wildflower experts to help us with the identification. We ended the day with a social picnic lunch.
