Hakone Japanese Garden Walking Tour

It was drizzling for our expert-guided walking tour of Hakone Japanese Garden. One hundred years old, Hakone is on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the oldest Japanese estate and gardens in the Western Hemisphere. We saw all parts of the garden including the origami exhibit and cherry blossoms in full bloom. After the tour, we had lunch in the waiting area for the main home, protected from the rain. The sky cleared and we took a walk in the bamboo garden. Click on the photos to see more.
