Almaden Quicksilver Hike 1

On October 10, we trekked in Almaden Quicksilver County Park. We passed some mining ruins and learned about the effects of mining on the environment including contamination of the Guadalupe Watershed and San Francisco Bay. Thank you to Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority for their support of this educational hike through the Measure Q Environmental Education Grant Program. Check out the photos to learn more.
