Our animated and very knowledgeable speaker, Dr. Craig, Professor of Journalism and author of three books, discussed changes in the news media including social media and fake news; misinformation in the news, what drives misinformation in the media and how to find the reliable news sources. He took us through a history of news from the early 1900's onward and how it has changed over the last century.
