Santa Teresa County Park

Santa Teresa County Park offers over 18 miles of unpaved trails for equestrian, hiking and bicycle use. Wildflowers are abundant from March through June on the Stile Ranch and other trails.  At the Bernal Road entrance, there is a restroom facility and drinkable water near the picnic area. The other entrance is at the Fortini trailhead off of McKean Rd.


Dogs must be on a leash. The Ohlone trail is closed to bicycles.

8 a.m. until sunset


There is a parking fee (disabled is free) at the main entrance.

Yes, a majority of facilities are accessible. There is disabled parking.

Most of the trails are wide and non-technical with lots of great hills and views of the bay. However the Rocky Ridge Trail is only for the serious mountain biker as you need to fly over the tops of rocks for two miles in order to make it down this trail.
