Swimming in Berkeley

Tilden is a 2,079 acres park with many miles of trails. Within the park, Lake Anza has a sandy beach, changing rooms and cafe and is open for swimming from May to September with lifeguards on duty from 11 a.m.to 5 p.m. You can swim at your own risk within roped off area only, when lifeguards are off duty.
