Wunderlich County Park
This park covers over 900 acres of coastal mountain environment with a mix of redwood forest and meadows and canyons, a stream, and springs. The dirt trails are open to both equestrians and hikers and reach an upper elevation of 2,000 feet. For equestrians, it has a lower area containing boarding stables, riding facilities, and a horse ring. Wildlife viewing includes black-tailed deer, raccoons, black squirrels and sometimes bobcats, coyotes and grey foxes. Also, acorn woodpeckers, chickadees, towhees, and Stellar jays can be seen. There are water and restroom facilities in the medium sized parking area.
Requirements
No dogs allowed.
Operating Hours
Park opens at 8 am and closes one half hour before sunset.

Directions
From Highway 280, take the Woodside Road/Highway 84 exit. Head west towards Woodside for about 4 miles through the town of Woodside. The main park entrance is on the west (right) side of the road. When coming to Wunderlich Park from Highway 1 or Highway 35, turn onto Highway 84 heading east through the town of Woodside, about one half mile past the intersection of Portola Road. The entrance to the park wis on the west (left) side. There is a large parking lot and street parking.
