This eight week Mindfulness Based stress reduction program incorporates Qigong to support mindfulness practice. Qigong is a Chinese energy exercise, although gentle and easy to learn, is a powerful practice suitable for all ages and physical conditions. It relaxes and strengthens the body and mind, releases stagnant energy, revitalizes our inner life force, and touches the deepest sense of our well being. The Cupertino Sports Center hosts yoga, Qigong and dance classes as well as 17 tennis courts, a fitness center, 2 racquetball courts, complete locker room facilities.
The Mountain View Senior Center offers Tai Chi, Feldenkrais and Qigong classes.
Sadhana consists of Japji morning prayer, Kundalini yoga Kriya for awakening followed by 62 minutes of beautiful chanting meditation. Sadhana is an early morning spiritual practice. Arrive at 5:30 am. to participate in Japji morning prayer. The 30 to 40 minute yoga set will begin at 6:00 am and the chanting will end at 7:45 am. Refreshments are served afterwards. Bring a cushion or blanket to sit on and a warm covering such as a shawl or blanket for your comfort during the 62 minutes of chanting (they have spares if you forget). A scarf or head covering is also recommended while meditating.

The style of meditation is an integration of Vipassana (insight) and Universal Healing Tao.
