Galleries in East Bay
This gallery displays a wide range of work by member artists, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, photography, textiles, sculpture, paintings and other fine art. They attract first class member artists, with fresh, unusual, distinctive work of the highest quality.
The gallery has 3,500 square feet of space to exhibit the work of historic, modern, and contemporary artists. The gallery organizes and presents five to six exhibitions each year as well as offering lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and many other kinds of public programs.
The Showcase Gallery challenges artists to think outside the box and stay productive with their Thematic Exhibits. The Signature Salon hosts solo exhibits by respected artists, as well as special exhibits to stretch your minds and open your hearts. The exhibiting artists are from all over the Bay Area. Every month they change all of the galleries. They celebrate the new exhibits with their now famous First Friday Gala Openings.
They have a gallery that offers monthly guest artist demonstrations and featured artist exhibits.
The gallery houses fine paintings, jewelry, greeting cards, ceramics and more.
This 2,000 square foot gallery hosts regional and national artists who specialize in painting, sculpture, installations, and conceptual art. Gallery receptions are open to the public and light refreshments are served.
The Olive Hyde Art Gallery offers the community seven gallery exhibits per year introducing an array of traditional and contemporary art.
The Richmond Art Center is a Bay Area cultural institution that showcases both emerging and established artists. Historically, this has included Richard Diebenkorn, Jasper Johns, Jay Defeo, Wanxin Zhang, and Hung Lui - many of whom launched their careers at the Art Center. Four galleries and a sculpture courtyard host 14 to 16 exhibitions a year that celebrate Bay Area and California artists.
The Rock Paper Scissors Collective is a volunteer run organization that fosters creativity and collaboration in order to strengthen local communities and encourage sustainable practices and alternative models. They promote the sharing of ideas, skills, and resources through the celebration of art, craft, education, and performance.
