The Tech Museum of Innovation

The Tech needs volunteers to: welcome visitors to the exciting exhibit galleries, answer questions about the exhbits, perform demonstrations, and help visitors have a fun experience. A science or technology background is helpful but not required. The benefits to becoming a Tech volunteer are free admission to museum and free parking, exhibits and programs training, discounts on memberships and Tech store purchases, meet celebrities and Silicon Valley legends, field trips and special events, awards and recognition, make new friends and learn new skills.

Requirements

Volunteers are required to attend a 90-minute orientation session and, for those who volunteer in our galleries, a three-hour exhibits training session.

Operating Hours

The museum is open everyday from 10am to 5pm.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible. Some volunteers work with us on a weekly basis and some every other weekend. Volunteers may work either a morning or afternoon shift.
