For people over 55 years of age, Kaiser offers mileage reimbursement and auto liability for the drive from your home to the hospital.
Requirements
Volunteers must commit a minimum of two hours per week for at least one year. Volunteers will be interviewed and must complete a background check. You need to complete health screening and an orientation class. Once accepted, there is a dress code.
Fees
Volunteers need to purchase a Kaiser blue jacket which costs $25.
