Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County
Volunteer to speak English with newly resettled refugee families. Attend English as a Second Language classes with the refugees at the Catholic Charities office and assist with the spoken exercises and basic conversation. Other opportunities are to assist Latino and Filipino older adults with computer skills. Volunteers over 55 who live in Santa Clara County are eligible to belong to RSVP and receive some benefits.
