Temescal Regional Recreation Area
The land around Temescal Lake has a perimeter of under 10 miles. There is one parking lot, multiple drinking fountains and picnic tables, restrooms and a fishing dock. For a map of the park, please click here
Requirements
Swimming is permitted only in the designated swim area. Dogs are not allowed in the lake and the beach.
Operating Hours
Park hours are between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Schedule
The swim area is open spring through fall, with lifeguards on duty during posted periods. Swimming is also allowed at your own risk when lifeguards are not on duty when the park is open from April through October.
Fees
From April through October there are parking fees of $5 per vehicle (when kiosk is attended). Dog fee is $2 per dog but guide dogs are free. There is a beach access fee of $3 for ages 16 to 61, $2 for ages 1 to 15, seniors ages 62 and older and the disabled.
Disabled Access
Landvale Station Trail and East Shore Trail are wheelchair accessible.
