Stanford Linear Accelerator
Scientists are your historical and scientific tour guides around SLAC. A bus takes you on a 90 minute tour throughout the site with visits to the Klystron Gallery, one of the world's longest buildings, and the two-mile linear accelerator. Bring a camera and wear comfortable walking shoes. The Visitor Center has restrooms and drinking water.
Requirements
Registration is required and tours fill quickly. Registration opens on the 3rd Friday of the previous month at 9 am. Visitors must be 12 years or older and children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All adults need to provide government issued photo ID upon entry to the laboratory.
Schedule
There are two tours per month on the first and third Friday of each month at 1:30 pm and 3:30pm.
