Vistas of San Jose

Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve is 1600 acres of grassland, oak woodlands and oak savannas. On our journey down to Alum Rock Park, we enjoyed expansive views of the valley and Santa Cruz Mountain range. We learned about the diverse landscape and protected wildlife species that make this preserve their home. This special walk was made possible by Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority.
