Gallery 9

GALLERY 9, the oldest art gallery in Los Altos, is a cooperative gallery of local artists who work in various media, including painting, printmaking, photography, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture and weaving. Originally a group of nine artists, the membership now stands at almost thirty. Artists are juried into membership, ensuring that the quality of the work exhibited is high. Each month a new show is hung in the front part of the Gallery, featuring the work of one or two of the members. Receptions for the artist are held in conjunction with each new exhibit. Work of other members is exhibited in the other half of the Gallery, and changes monthly.
