Friends of Guadalupe River Park and Gardens (San Jose)

Volunteering with the Friends can bring you many benefits, from learning successful gardening techniques, to having the satisfaction of doing something good for the environment. Docents will improve their public speaking skills and have an opportunity to introduce the park to visitors. Helping with our childrens education programs can be fun and fulfilling for volunteers. Other opportunities include Rose Garden Work Days, Courtyard Garden Work Day, Historic Orchard Drought Tolerant Garden Workdays, River Clean Ups and Trail Maintenence and Education Volunteers.

Friends of the San Jose Rose Garden (San Jose)

Volunteers help to maintain the roses at the Historic 5 and a half acre San Jose Municipal Rose Garden.

Heritage Rose Gardens (San Jose)

The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden is maintained completely by volunteers who weed, clip spent blooms, winter prune and propagate and plant.
