Ballet in San Jose

There are beginning and intermediate lessons with two sessions of lessons and then open dancing after the second lesson. An SJSU or local dance studio instructor teaches the lessons.  Lessons are each 45 minutes and open dancing is for 45 minutes.

MACLA or Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana is an inclusive contemporary arts space grounded in the Chicano and Latino experience They provide Aztec dance and Ballet Folklorico classes. All ages are welcome.

Founded in 2003 to meet the need for contemporary dance opportunities.

The Third Street Community Center offers a health and wellness program for older adults (50+ yrs).  Dance classes include line, Yuan Chih and Hula. 

Western Ballet, the Mountain View Ballet Company and School, has taught and performed in Santa Clara County, California for over thirty years. Their students perform full length ballets at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts.
